◆技巧点拨
句中有now,look（你瞧），listen（你听）等信息词，动词用进行时态，句中有in 2006，two years ago等确切的表示过去的时间状语，动词用过去式；句中有so far，in the last（past）few months（years）等时间状语，谓语用现在完成时。如：
1.In the past few weeks,we have finished two thirds of the job.
2.So far we have known everything behind the accident.
3.In 2003,Sars hit China,causing many deaths.
◆活学活用
阅读下面短文，按照句子结构的语法性和上下文连贯的要求，在空格处填入一个适当的词或使用括号中词语的正确形式填空。
There have been several changes made to the PDCS(Port Dover Composite School)that we used to know.We have new teachers,the addition of grade 7 and 8 students,and new programs are some of the changes this year.
But most importantly,we have a new principal looking after PDCS,Mrs.Mattina, 1 is enjoying her first year 2 a secondary school principal here at PDCS.
Three years ago,she 3 (become)vice-principal at Pauline Johnson, 4 secondary school in Brantford,where she held the position for three years before coming to PDCS.
